Nashville TN Commemoration

“You who are the servants of God, fight against oppression, hate and discord, so that wars may cease and God’s laws of peace and love may be established among men.”

On this day, all over the world, Bahá’ís are gathered to honor the Author of these inspiring words, ‛Abdu’l-Bahá, and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of His Ascension.

His Father, Bahá’u’lláh, the Prophet Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, bestowed upon Him many titles, such as The Exemplar, The Mystery of God, and the Center of the Covenant. He is also called The Master, because the way He led His life in humble service to God and humanity, is the Perfect Example to inspire people of Faith to take action and make choices so that “peace and love may be established.”

Let us reflect on ‛Abdu’l-Bahá’s extraordinary and fearless life—how His journey to the United States of America in 1912, after over 50 years of persecution, exiles, and imprisonment, impacted America’s embryonic struggle for racial justice, America’s most vital and challenging issue.

We would love to hear from you
