Many Baha'is and friends of Baha'is of all ages decorated blocks with drawings and quotes about the dawning of a new day.

The blocks were assembled into a "gate" or arch, which was placed at the entrance to bicentenary celebrations.

Beyond arch celebrations continued in the auditorium where arts, stories, and music took place.
