Youth

Throughout Bahá’í history, youth have played a crucial role. The Báb, who declared His mission at the age of twenty-five, had many young followers who embraced His teachings. Similarly, during the ministries of Bahá’u’lláh and ‘Abdu’l-Bahá, young people were at the forefront of spreading the message of the new Faith and sharing its teachings with others. In each generation, thousands of young Bahá’ís have followed in the footsteps of these extraordinary figures, responding to the call of Bahá’u’lláh. The Universal House of Justice, the current head of the Bahá’í Faith, encourages young Bahá’ís to draw on their zeal and enthusiasm during this pivotal time in their lives, making significant contributions to the advancement of spiritual and material civilization.
