Unity of Mankind Scouting Emblem Program

The Unity of Mankind Religious Emblem program for scouting is an officially recognized program by the national councils of the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA. Our program provides all interested Girl, Boy and Adult Scouts the opportunity to learn about the Bahá'í Faith. It is specifically designed to help participants realize their potential as citizens of the world.

The Bahá'í Faith and scouting share similar principals that take active roles in promoting education, child protection, women and girls in leadership, cultural, racial and religious tolerance, fostering peer relationships and youth mentorship, sustainable development, and prevention against violence, drugs and crime.

Life-long learning is essential to human and spiritual development. Empowering children and youth to reach their full potential by including service-oriented programs in their development helps them shape their own character and discover their interests at crucial times in their lives. Our program requirements are:

Level 1: Grades K-3 for Daisy and Brownie Girl Scouts, Grades 1-4 for Tiger, Wolf, Bear Cub Scouts and Webelos Scouts

Level 2: Grades 4-7 for Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts, Grades 5-8 for Webelos Scouts and Boy Scouts

Level 3: Grades 8-12 for Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts, Grades 9-12 for Boy Scouts

Adult: Service to Humanity
