U.S. Baha'i News will continue to bring you inspiring stories of Baha'is who are making a difference-and providing readers with ideas and resources to apply spiritual principles in their personal, family and community lives.

When Susanne M. Alexander’s husband brings her tea every morning, she might say, "Thank you, sweetheart. That was very thoughtful of you." Or kind. Or loving. Baha'i inspired-school a study in teaching virtues
Teachers, by their nature, have a noble goal. But Nanci Aiken ups the ante even more. As founder and executive director of Children's Success Academy, a five-year-old K-5th-grade charter school in Tucson, Arizona, Aiken wants to do more than educate. She wants to "serve humanity," which is one of the tenets of the Baha'i Faith.

Especially if they're singing "I'm So Glad," or another stirring piece written by Van Gilmer, newly appointed director of music.
Baha'i gift-giving season follows different cycle
'Tis the season. However, for members of the Baha'i Faith, who come from virtually all national, cultural and religious backgrounds, gift-giving is still a few months away. It's a difficult concept for many outside our faith to grasp.
