Van Gilmer, Director of the Baha’i House of Worship Music Department and Choir, shares his musical journey to the Baha’i Faith in this feature article in Wilmette Life.

“I always tell the choir that we’re not singing songs to get the notes correct, or to make the music precise. We’re singing the songs for the value of the words and music when they’re combined together, and the feeling evoked from that presentation, the feeling.

“You have to feel the music.”
