Baha’i musician, Devon Gundry, teamed up with a number of Baha’i artists to produce a devotional music video, "Armed."

Devon Gundry – "Armed" from Justin Baldoni on Vimeo.

The words to the song come from a prayer by Baha’u'llah, founder of the Baha’i Faith:

"Armed with the power of Thy name nothing can ever hurt me, and with Thy love in my heart all the world’s afflictions can in no wise alarm me."

The video was written, produced and directed by actor, Justin Baldoni and the cast includes veteran actors, Alex Rocco and Eva La Rue.

I’m Jewish, and I was searching for Baha’i music artists for an interfaith party a close friend, who is Baha’i,and I are throwing on the Baha’i New Year and on the Jewish holiday of Purim and I came across this video, and was deeply touched. Thank you so much for such a beautiful song that can truly unite people of all faiths. With love, Nathan

  3. Dear Devon, Saw your last name, and my son Paul Blote worked on songs with Bob Gundry years ago. Could he be your father? Paul died January 2001, sadly, his life on this earthly plain has changed for the best for him and his wonderful music and art legacy is still with my daughter, Beth Blote, and me, his mom. Paul was a Baha’i and so are we. Keep writing and singing. And if Bob is your father, please let him know about Paul and that I have written. My daughter just created a Fan Club for Paul Blote on Facebook. com. God Bless you.

    Warmest Baha’i regards,
    Winnie (Blote) Kelly

Wow, that was really touching. It actually made me cry a little and I never cry during sad movies and such.

I have found this film clip to be very uplifting and disturbing.
It wrenches at my heart when I see this type of difficulty people are experiencing.
I feel so blessed and grateful to be knowing God.

Thank you. The encouragement that your video gives with Baha’u'llah’s words is wonderful.
