The Baha’i calendar includes eleven holy days, festivals and special events. In May, Baha’is commemorated two important dates in Baha’i history; the anniversaries of the Declaration of the Bab and of the Ascension of Baha’u’llah.

Do Baha’is have a holy book?
The most holy book of the Baha'i Faith is the Kitab-i-Aqdas, the book of laws written by Baha’u’llah. It is part of more than 100 volumes of Baha’u’llah’s scriptures, which cover a wide range of topics, including laws and principles for personal conduct, the governance of society and mystical writings on the progress of the soul and its journey toward God.
